Dr. Maeyens is a Board Certified Dermatologist,
a fully trained and recognized specialist, knowledgeable in
skin diseases and tumors. He received his medical training
from the following fully accredited institutions:
Medical College of Virginia, Duke University Medical Center His last year of residency included cancer research. In addition, Dr. Maeyens has received Special Certification in Dermatopathology (microscopic identification of skin disorders) as well as training in infectious disease. Many of his instructors are international leaders in the field of Dermatology. Dr. Maeyens continues to update his training and refine his skills by scheduling at least one month each year to attend nationally accredited medical seminars. | Our Staff: The healthcare professionals employed in our office have
been selected for their achievement and commitment to provide our
patients with quality care and attention. Our clinical staff
consists of one RN, two LPN’s, and a Dermatology Surgical
Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant. In addition to our clinical
staff, we have two Medical Receptionists, Office Manager and
Business Manager with a total of 55+ years of experience in the
medical field. All staff members continually update and improve
their skills through memberships in nationally recognized
professional associations, regular attendance at formal continuing
education workshops as well as self-assessment and study after
hours.
Few offices, whether solo practices or large group practices, provide such skilled personnel for every aspect of your treatment. |
